Bootstrap will provide unprecedented scientific knowledge on the psychological mechanisms underlying (risk for) PUI and potential interventions. Improved self-management and tools to optimize healthy internet usage will promote mental health and prevent mental ill health in adolescents, and contribute to reducing stigma.
SMILE, originally “Supporting Mental Health in Young People: Integrated Methodology for cLinical dEcisions and evidence-based interventions”, is a project aimed at bolstering the mental health of young individuals in a rapidly changing society. It addresses challenges such as anxiety, depression, and societal stigmatization. The initiative is creating an Open Knowledge Platform (OKP) with digital tools for children, adolescents, and young adults aged 10 and up.
